This antitrust litigation alleges that the three leading groups of manufacturers and sellers of concrete and cement admixtures (which are added to concrete and cement to enhance its features) unlawfully agreed to fix prices for their admixtures. Plaintiffs in this litigation allege that chicken suppliers colluded to increase the price of broiler chicken in the United States. NastLaw represents a class of commercial indirect purchasers of broiler chicken. Settlements totaling over $100 million have been reached against seven defendants, and claims against the remaining defendants are still being litigated.

In re Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation (N.D. Ala.)

This antitrust litigation alleges that Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and its Individual Blue Plans conspired to allocate markets and increase health insurance costs. NastLaw represents a class of subscribers of Individual Blue Plans. The parties reached a $2.67 billion settlement, which the district court approved, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed. A request for review by the United States Supreme Court, filed on March 28, 2024, remains pending.
